Established in 1966 to salvage damaged paper and board, Deva Hawarden Board & Display Trading developed a deep knowledge of the products and converting requirements for the printing and carton making industries. This knowledge has been extended into the laminating and press forming of paper and board. The addition of Claygate Speciality Films has lead to a diversification outside the paper industry.
Our combined knowledge to extend our services
Under new ownership the group companies were consolidated into the Boardlink Group Limited in 2007. We are now using our combined knowledge to extend our services into the food industry. An extensive program of research and development into environmentally friendly packaging products has resulted in bringing to the market of new products and innovation to supplement exiting lines.
Recognising quality approval standards
Deva Hawarden Board & Display Trading have achieved ISO registration, the group has FSC chain of custody and has BRC accreditation for all companies within the group.
The latest training techniques are being employed to ensure a group wide commitment to customer care, and a strong emphasis on sustainability and recycling will remain at the heart of the Boardlink Group.
Environmentally Friendly Materials
The majority of the groups products are based on paperboard, a wood fibre based product. Wherever possible the group companies uses suppliers whose base material comes from managed and renewable sources that are certified with FSC, PEFC or U.S. equivalent. Paperboard is recyclable, biodegradable, compostable and in an increasingly environmentally conscious world offers substantial environmental advantages over petro-chemical based plastics.
