1. Take Away Trays

   These products are generally referred to as U70F, U70 and U60F and provide an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic & polystyrene.

   Made from pure virgin fibre paperboard they are suitable for direct food contact. They are fully recyclable and compostable. As they have little intrinsic grease or water resistance characteristics the barrier properties are limited but are more than sufficient for the take away sector, ie for fish & chip trays, pies & suasages, etc.

   Take away trays are particularly popular at festivals and concerts, as well as with local authorities in coastal areas where plastic take away packaging is seen as a major environmental issue
